Legislative Representation
The
firm’s government relations practice group also provides legislative
representation. The firm has provided legislative branch lobbying
services, including legislative analysis and development of lobbying
strategies, to numerous clients. The firm’s Tallahassee members devote
much of their practice to legislative representation, are highly
experienced in the political and government process, and have prior
experience serving in state government. They monitor and analyze existing
and proposed legislation, develop and execute in-depth lobbying
strategies, draft and edit legislation, rules, policies and procedures and
discuss specific issues with individual legislators. The firm’s clients
include Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida, Association of
American Publishers, University of Miami, the Motorcycle Industry Council,
the Catholic Cemeteries of Archdiocese of Miami, the Southeastern Health &
Racquet Sports Association, the Professional Educators Network of Florida,
the Alliance for Equity in Educational Services, and the Florida Council
of Independent Schools and the Florida Trail Riders.
